VDO injectors provide precise injections and superfine automatization of diesel fuel which results in effective combustion and excellent fuel efficiency. The VDO injector uses piezo electronic technology and is developed specifically to reduce diesel emissions by making the fuel combustion within the cylinder more efficient. This VDO injector is renovated by BG Diesel using original VDO parts. It meets all OE standards and OE quality specifications.

VDO’s piezo technology

The VDO injector has a piezo actuator which receives signals according to performance characteristics that are stored within the engine control unit. The high fuel pressure applies in the control centre and the high-pressure chamber of the nozzle, and via the piezo actuator the pressure is shifted. The nozzle needle moves upward, and the fuel reaches the injection chamber through several injection wholes. In this way, the VDO injector performs faster and can carry out more injections per cylinder stroke. This allows for a higher fuel system pressure, and it improves the automatization of diesel as well as providing better precision and momentum.
